A Final Announcement

Hello everyone,

Looks like this announcement isn't gonna be a happy one.

I'm afraid, I'm no longer able to continue subtitling Kuzey Güney into English. Though I don't like quitting on the way; I don't have the time, energy and motivation to keep going.

I'm happy if these subtitles could bring you a little bit of happiness and joy once a week :)

Episode 66 Announcement

Hello friends,

Episode 66 subtitles will be up tomorrow (Tuesday) evening, full episode in one ".srt" file. So you can start uploading the full video from KG YouTube page (unlike Episode 65).

I haven't watched Episode 66 yet either... So you guys and girls aren't the only ones :)

As for the occasional complaints I receive; I don't mind them, everyone has their reasons to complain, some rightfully, some not. But it's okay. I am aware that the second method is not easy for everyone. That's perfectly fine. Everyone starts from somewhere and we're here to help. Hopefully people are getting used to the second method by now.

And I am also aware that late announcements cause disappointment on some of you. I'll try to be quicker in the future.

Episode 64 Missing Scenes

It seems a few scenes escaped my eyes in the last Episode. Thanks for letting me know.

Aynur, Sami, Kuzey at home:

Kuzey asks why he wasn't told about the health problem Sami Bey had. They answer: it wasn't anything serious, they didn't want him to be worried.


Güney, Banu, Ebru having breakfast:

Güney acts like he's so happy about the surprise they made last night. Ebru Hanım is glad to hear that. But she has bad news, she's told that SNCG assigned Melda Hanım on a different operation in a different country, which is a strategic decision.


I think that was all the scenes missing? I'll add these in the subtitle later on today. If there's more, please let me know which scene and where :)

About Removed Youtube Videos

Hello friends,

Whenever something unexpected and disappointing happens in this blog or in our forum, please remember our motto "Do Not Panic!"

That being said, thanks to your comments I'm now aware of the issue, that it seems Kanal D made a copyright claim to the videos we've been sharing in our blog and they got the videos removed. Which was expected. After all, what I was doing, which is uploading their videos with my subtitles on them, was not completely legal. But I did it anyway, since embedded videos was the only way for some of you guys to watch the show in English.

But luckily it isn't the only way. If you go to "How to Watch" page in our blog, you will see a "second method" that you can use to watch the episodes. This method requires a little more than just pressing the "play button". But it is not hard if you follow the instructions.
